Christmas in July- Stenciled Rusty Saw Sign

 Hi Everyone!

The weather is beautiful here in California.

The garage sale season is going strong, and we don't

have to wear masks outside....for now!

I found these FREEBIE hand saws.

I'm so excited!

I have wanted to make a  Christmas sign ever since I first saw one

made by Donna at Funky Junk Interiors

Her stencils are amazing!

Check it out!

.....but

I had this stencil

already

and thought it would work well-

It was a gift from my son.

I just went with white paint- it shows well on the rusty metal.

Later I sealed the paint with

this sealer.

Don't let the sign fool you!

We are at sea level and it's 88 degrees today :)

I have all kinds of rusty tools hanging on my fence-

I like how they turned out!

It feels good to get that project off my workbench.

Thank you for visiting !

  4. These are awesome but not just for Christmas! I think they are great for outdoor decor too, especially at a lake or mountain cabin. I need to find some old saws.

    1. Thanks Marie,
You are so right- I left them out on the fence for now. They do have a cabin vibe!

  9. I love projects that start with free stuff! The saws really turned out nice and look good on the fence. It's nice to hear the masks came off for at least a while!
