A Victorian Cabinet Card for St. Patrick's Day

Hello my friend,

I have this sweet little Victorian girl on a cabinet card....

she could really use something in her hand.

How about a shamrock?

I cut a small shamrock out of paper. I didn't trust myself

to directly paint on the photo.

I used a tiny dab of glue from a glue stick....

if I decide to remove the shamrock it won't damage the picture.

The color was too bright for me so I painted the shamrock with a darker green.

I left it hanging on my project board.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  1. Such a sweet photo and that tiny little shamrock is perfect in her hand. I love the stitch work on her dress you don't see that anymore. It's a lost art. ☘️
