Hi Friends,
I noticed that I have shared every color imaginable when it comes
to Buffalo Check Plaid and Gingham and more Gingham.....but I left out my technique for
to Buffalo Check Plaid and Gingham and more Gingham.....but I left out my technique for
RED BUFFALO CHECK PLAID !
Here are the colors that I used...
Bright Red, Tuscan Red and Black
Paint the outside of your jar with Bright Red
I used Tuscan Red to make my vertical stripes.
I don't like to use tape I think it looks better free hand.
Then paint the horizontal stripes start under the lip of the jar.
Then at the base.
Paint center stripe centered evenly between the top and bottom stripe.
After your stripes have dried come back in with Black paint
at all the points were the stripes overlap. Use a square tip brush so you can make
sharp squares.
Add a bit of ribbon or twine if you like.
That's it!
I think that covers just about every color-
I'm so glad you stayed until the very end.
I hope you have a wonderful week.

Looks good!I made a buffalo checked cottage sign, so it was interesting to see how someone else went about the same task. I'll have to try it on a Mason jar.http://lovemylittlecottage.com/diy-buffalo-plaid-cozy-little-cottage-sign/
