Stenciled Water Crock

Hi Friends,

My neighbor asked if I wanted this crock, and of course I said yes.






I thought it would make a nice planter for the porch.





I cleaned it up a bit-


and looked through some of my stencils.


I used the monogram section of this stencil.

I laid the crock on the side and taped down the stencil.




I used black paint and a stencil brush.




After the paint dried, I used a spray sealer to protect the finish.







Then added a potted chrysanthemum.





I like the extra height it gives to this area.




Now I'm just waiting for some cooler weather!
