Hi Friends,
The thrifts shops are STILL closed.
Today I found some inspiration at the grocery store.
I saw this can of Peas on the shelf
and fell in love with the
artwork on the label.
It has a vintage vibe!
brought it home and put it on the shelf.
I saw a similar can on ETSY for $6.99
I opened the can on the top and
these peas were a sweet treat for my chickens.
I used the can to hold my paint brushes.
I love to decorate with flowers
or fruit from the market.
Have you ever been inspired by an item
from the grocery store
that you used for decor?
Tell me what you found!
Thank you for visiting.

Here's another
I love tins that are vintage and new, too. Marmalade crocks, too. Little cheese crocks. Pretty spice jars and tea tins. I just love stuff!

DeleteI love tins and crocks too- This means we can be best friends but we can't thrift shop together!
Have a great day.

Cute can! I did something similar with an Enchilada sauce can. I really liked the look of it on my counter next to an overflowing crock of wood spoons. So I washed it and stuck the excess spoons in it.

DeleteYou are so right! Sometimes the strangest things catch my eye :)
Is it the sauce with the duck on the front?

Love this! I thought I was the only one who bought jam/jelly crocks and food products that had that vintage look.

They really do look like vintage labels. Very clever to repurpose it for home decor!
