Hello My Friends!
Most of the Craft and Dollar Stores have
some chunky cut outs for Spring!
There are so many ways to decorate these.
I used this bunny cut out because
he can stand on his own-
I also needed one of these tiles from the Dollar Tree.
Then painted the entire bunny with white acrylic paint.
I used a damp cloth to wipe paint off on some areas.
The gray raised areas show through.
I put the bunny on a shelf along with a gingham jar
that I painted a few years ago.
Here's a tutorial on my Jars, in just about any color!
With some of the scrap pieces I was able to
cover a wooden heart-
to hang
and the roof of a small birdhouse.
These tiles are so easy to use!
I recommend you give them a try.
Thank you for visiting!

This is brilliant!! What a great idea! I've worked with that peel-stick tile before, and this is a darling use for it. Visiting from Happy Hearts & Homes linkup. (If you're interested, I'd love to see you share this post at my linkup as well: https://lifetalesbooks.blogspot.com/p/calling-fellow-bloggers.html)
ReplyDeleteJennifer,

Love this! I found some of their thicker eggs but they didn't have the bunnies. Featuring when my party opens!
ReplyDeleteCarol,
DeleteSorry you couldn't find a bunny! These tiles were so fun to use. I want to cover a box next. I am really surprised how good it looks close up. You couldn't guess it was plastic! Thank you for the feature! I am so grateful.
Happy Easter-

That looks fabulous, those tiles are SO versatile :-) Thanks for stopping by at Handmade Monday to share with us.
ReplyDeleteJulie, Thank you so much. It's hard to believe the tile tile is plastic. I was very pleased and want to make more :)
