Hi Friends,
Here is an easy way to display Valentines.
I had this darling Kitty sending a letter to his sweetheart.
I traced the card on to a scrap of 1/8'' thick craft store wood.
You could use foam board or card board.
I used a utility knife to cut out the design.
For the stand, I glued together 2 'Jenga' pieces but any small
scrap of wood will do-
I painted the back of the wood with acrylic paint.
The front will be covered with the design, So I only needed
to paint to the edge.
I glued the Valentine to the front.
Then used Distress Ink on the edges.
I had some red glitter so I thought I would use it on the heart.
I added the tiny letter to the mailbox.
On the back side I glued the stacked pieces of wood
to hold up the Valentine.
It stood up very well!
Here is the backside-
I made another!
His letter is removable-
I put them on a book self that needed a little decoration.
The blocks are here.
Thanks for the visit!
