Hi Friends!
I have another quick stencil project to share with you.
My Mom gave me this old galvanized flower bucket,
she knew I would want to stencil it :)
This is the stencil I wanted to use.
Round surfaces can be tricky.
6" X 6"
I was able to tape the stencil to bucket
with no problems.
I used black acrylic paint and a stencil brush.
I cut some flowers from my garden.
When I brought them inside I remembered......I really don't like
the way Daisies smell !
So ....outside they went, to the front porch!
They look nice there so that's where they will stay!
Thanks so much-
xo Lisa S
Awesome job. Loved the way it turned out. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Lovely! I do like their fragrance.😊 Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! They are pretty but I must have a terrible variety... They smell like gym socks. So I pick them and leave on the patio :)

Great project: I was SURE you were going to say that you rubbed the lemons up a bit to disguise the daisy smell. I like the smell--it's the aphids they sometime have that "bug" me (only pun I have made in a LONG time!).

DeleteIt's worth a try! Thanks for the idea. I think the aphids run from the smell.

This is lovely, Lisa! The lemons add just the pefect burst of color, too! Hope to see you at Tuesday Turn About my friend! We close tonight at midnight. ;-)
