Galvanized Tin Trees

 Hi my Friends,

This project is ALL made by Mr. Fresh Vintage! :)

I did nothing except ask, ''Can you make something with that scrap of tin?"

This stuff is razor sharp so be warned!

HANDLE WITH THICK LEATHER GLOVES!

He used Tin Snips to make the cuts.

The ridges need to be vertical for strength in standing.

We used some birch tree pieces as the base.

Starting with a triangle was an easy way to mark the tree branch cuts.

Oh, I am so excited.

He had enough scraps to make 3 trees.

Do you remember the story of the three trees?

We love to bring out the collection of Christmas books.

This one is a favorite.

It will bring tears to your eyes.

I put the trees on the front porch.

My husband thinks the porch is full :)

Thanks for stopping by, please say hello in the comments !

The base has worked well to keep them from blowing over :)
My husband helped out a neighbor and we got the wood.

  10. These trees are fabulous! I love how you say my husband things the porch is full, lol! My husband is the same. 'Just because there is a space doesn't mean you have to put something in it' That's not how decorating works! I'm working on him :-D

  15. These are great! Galvanized decor pieces are my favorite! Don't know if I trust myself at making my own, though perhaps I can sand down the sharp edges? I'll be featuring these at this week's Snickerdoodle Create Bake Make Link Party.

LOVE IT. So much more significant when each craft has a story behind it. Adds to it's beauty :)
