Valentine Tree- Coffee Filter Hearts

Hi My friends,

I made these hanging hearts with coffee filters!

The branch was from my yard-

It only takes about a minute to make each heart-

You may have these in your pantry,

if not they are available at most dollar stores.

Take one filter and flatten it out with your hands.

Hearts can be dyed pink using water and food coloring.

Cut 1/4'' off one side of circle

On the cut edge, fold 1/4'' and continue to the middle accordion style.

Then the other side

Fold to the center like a fan

Glue center of heart and pinch

Use thread and a needle to make a hanging loop.

Tie a knot and hang on a small branch.

I put my branch in a recycled apple cider jug.

A pretty and easy center piece!

XO Lisa S

  4. These turned out adorable! I made a V-day tree with plain cardstock last year, but I love this unique version. They would be super cute dyed in a watercolor-type way. Thanks for sharing the tutorial with us on Crafty Creators!
