Hi Friends !
If you love vintage valentines like I do-
Here's a few I'd like to share with you!
I wish you a very Happy Valentines Day !

Make great Candle Coasters ! Merry Christmas ! Some mischief-makers have had a hold on my computer...??? Unfortunately it wasn't these...
Adorable!
ReplyDeletethese are sweet. My dad gave his girlfriend a Valentine in 1930 when he was 12 and the girlfriend was 9. My brother has that valentine and his wife made us all a copy of it because my dad married that girlfriend... these are my parents. They married in 1938, and were married until my mother died in 1996. The written words inside say "I need not tell You, Sweetheart Mine, that You're my only Valentine. And yet I do, for now's the day when folks reveal to those they love just how they feel, and I Love You!"

DeleteThat is the sweetest memory. Thank you for sharing it with me. You are so blessed to have such loving parents. My parents are still married, they were High School sweethearts :) It's unusual today to see such devotion and commitment.

Thank you! I love your embellished example, too. Would make a great card to give or start of a garland!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
DeleteYou are so kind. I added the tag in case someone wondered
" What can I do with these?"
A garland is an awesome idea!

Naush,
DeleteI just love the little animal valentines.
Good memories.

I love the layers of vintage itemse you put on the tag to make it so unique. I still have a few of my childhood valentines, and one of them is the same one you have on the tag. All that curly blonde hair! I want to make something similar, I think, for next year. Will go through my collection of "stuff," haha!
