Faux Tin Tile Bunny

Hello My Friends!

Most of the Craft and Dollar Stores have

some chunky cut outs for Spring!

There are so many ways to decorate these.

I used this bunny cut out because

he can stand on his own-

I also needed one of these tiles from the Dollar Tree.

Have you seen these SELF- ADHESIVE WALL TILES ?

They are made of plastic with a raised 3D design.

They are 12'' x 12'' and  $1.25 each

Easily cut with scissors or utility knife.

I removed the backing adhesive sheet.

I will not be using it.

I traced the area needed

with a pencil.

Save the scraps-

I used white glue to attach tile to the wood piece.

After the glue dried I cut around the bunny shape.

Then painted the entire bunny with white acrylic paint.

I used a damp cloth to wipe paint off on some areas.

The gray raised areas show through.

I put the bunny on a shelf along with a gingham jar

that I painted a few years ago.

Here's a tutorial on my Jars, in just about any color!

Gingham Jars

With some of the scrap pieces I was able to

cover a wooden heart-

to hang

and to display in my bathroom

and the roof of a small birdhouse.

-sold-

These tiles are so easy to use!

I recommend you give them a try.

Thank you for visiting!

Sweetheart Candy Valentine / X O Blocks

Hi friends !

Remember these conversation hearts?

Here's a sweet little Valentine-

The front used to be a window cut out.....

I cut the front heart out of the box.

The back of the box has a place for a message.

I left it as is.

Put the candy in a small bag to give with the box.

Here are some Valentines-

Save to use

I cut out the bear to put inside the opening.

I glued some Rick-Rack and flower trim to decorate.

Save one candy to put in Teddy Bear's hand.

Here's the back-

To make your Hugs and Kisses Blocks you will need a set of blocks

This set came from the Dollar tree.

Acrylic paint -any color

and a Sharpie!

Here's an EASTER version!

An Easy Collage Project

Hello my Friend..... I've been away for a while.

I missed you!

How was your summer ?

I came upon this accordion file at the .99 cent Store.

These files are great for receipts, recipes or any papers you need to control.

I even liked the ribbon closer-

The back was plain.

The file has sections marked with the alphabet.

I  used some MOD PODGE and scraps of paper,

lace, fabric. old maps, and sheet music to cover over the old graphic.

No real plan, just start to layer and stop when you like

what you created!

I'll share a couple of of pictures I used.

These came from The Graphic Fairy

Hundreds of wonderful vintage graphics!

You can save and print from here or you to-

https://thegraphicsfairy.com/

This is the back side.

Collage is fun !

These accordion-style files  were very inexpensive,

and they can be easily personalized.

I think I will pick up a couple more to give as gifts.

Thanks for the visit!

Valentine Tree- Coffee Filter Hearts

Hi My friends,

I made these hanging hearts with coffee filters!

The branch was from my yard-

It only takes about a minute to make each heart-

You may have these in your pantry,

if not they are available at most dollar stores.

Take one filter and flatten it out with your hands.

Hearts can be dyed pink using water and food coloring.

Cut 1/4'' off one side of circle

On the cut edge, fold 1/4'' and continue to the middle accordion style.

Then the other side

Fold to the center like a fan

Glue center of heart and pinch

Use thread and a needle to make a hanging loop.

Tie a knot and hang on a small branch.

I put my branch in a recycled apple cider jug.

A pretty and easy center piece!
