Thrifted Potato Masher turned Recipe Note and Napkin Holder

Hello my friends,

Another item you find at almost every thrift shop or flea market

is the potato masher.

They do work great for mashing-

I stained the handle and attached a small clip at the top.

The wide base keeps it from tipping over.

A small wood clothes pin could also be used.

Clip a photo or recipe at the top

and display any little treasure on the base.

This will help keep our napkins from blowing away!

  4. Are you kidding me? I need this. I look at my napkin holder everyday and think , "Look at you. You don't even hold the napkins nicely, they look droopy" I had a few ideas but now I want this. Thx for sharing at Funtastic Friday.

    1. Oh thanks!
It does keep those napkins together. I found these at Dollar tree years ago and I wish I got more :)

  5. That's a great idea. I would have never thought about using a potato masher for a recipe book holder or anything else for that matter. I have to get my mother on board with this idea.

  10. This is just SO clever! Not in a million years would I look at a potato masher and think "That's just the thing to keep our napkins in!"
