Hello!
My friend was visiting Maine and sent some
breathtaking photos of the changing leaves.
We don't see such a beautiful
variety of colors here in California.
When she was about to come back home-
I said bring some leaves !
Well she did and I was so pleased-
She transported them in a book.
The colors are amazing!
I read somewhere that Mod Podge
can preserve leaves....
I didn't think it would work but I wanted to give it a try.
I laid the leaves out on waxed paper
and painted a thin coat on both sides.
It was looking interesting.
Then when they dried -
wow!
It really does work!
The leaves became soft and pliable again !
The leaves will last longer without breaking apart.
They can be used in all sorts of ways now.
I am amazed-
I highly recommend trying this yourself.
These will be on my Thanksgiving table-
