Hello friends!
I was drawn to this flexible plastic placemat at the Dollar Tree-
It was sort of ugly but I thought maybe I could do something with it-
The front had a detailed design.
The back of the mat laid flat.
I rubbed an ink pad on the front of the mat.
Flipped it over on some Kraft paper-
Pressed down as a giant stamp.
I liked how it looked-
-so I did some more.
I had some plain brown bags
The ink picked up a lot of details.
I wasn't sure if I was just making a huge mess.
It was definitely a happy accident!
I just used a wet- wipe-
Easy to clean !
These mats cut easily with scissors to create
more designs in different sizes !
Colored ink would look great,
even going over the design with watercolor paint or pencils
to personalize your gift wrap would make a one-of-a kind bag.
Thanks for letting me share with you today !

Wow, I love this! I am not a particularly "crafty" person, so I appreciate these kinds of projects. Thank you.

I had that exact same thought when I looked at them, and then passed because my house is full of undone projects, lol. But, on fabrics it may be a real success!
