Standing Valentine

 Hi Friends,

Here is an easy way to display Valentines.

I had this darling Kitty sending a  letter to his sweetheart.

I traced the card on to a scrap of 1/8'' thick craft store wood.

You could use foam board or card board.

I used a utility knife to cut out the design.

For the stand, I glued together 2 'Jenga' pieces but any small

scrap of wood will do-

I painted the back of the wood with acrylic paint.

The front will be covered with the design, So I only needed

to paint to the edge.

I glued the Valentine to the front.

Then used Distress Ink on the edges.

I had some red glitter so I thought I would use it on the heart.

I added the tiny letter to the mailbox.

On the back side I glued the stacked pieces of wood

to hold up the Valentine.

It stood up very well!

Here is the backside-

I made another!

His letter is removable-

I put them on a book self that needed a little decoration.

    The blocks are here.

Thanks for the visit!

Just takes a Minute - Campfire Marshmallow Candle

Hi there!

I purchased this candle at the DOLLAR TREE.

I always love white candles.

This candle has a wonderful Vanilla scent and will work for my plan-

Print a label-

Cut and re-check size and placement.

Here's my label-
size to fit
Here's my Label
I cut and removed the original vinyl label.

I used Mod Podge to adhere the label.

First I painted the front of the label with mod podge

and then allowed it to dry.

After the front is dry. Paint the back side of the label with Mod Podge

and attach to the jar.

Press down well, to remove any air bubbles.

A nice gift for a 'Vintage Loving' friend!

Thank you!
